In December 2022, the Tolpuddle Village Hall was packed with our brilliant community members who shared one collective hope: to save our pub, The Martyrs Inn, and open its doors once more.

So strong was that hope—and so generous was the community response—that around £500,000 was pledged in just a few short weeks. Three years later, we have an open pub again, and that is something to celebrate.

Like any community venture, things evolve. Some shareholders feel confident and excited, some feel nervous, and some feel the project has drifted from the early "community pub" spirit—but all remain united with the common goal, as strong now as it was back in December 2022: to keep our pub open and thriving for decades to come!

We are not just shareholders—we are investors! People who invested with money, yes—but mostly invested in a dream. It's time to unite once more and keep that dream alive!
